Thriving Leaders Virtual Session

Organised by Thrive HR Exchange and Thrive Global APAC

We have long known that 'people leave managers, rather than organisations' and 'heading for the hills' is an all too common response to bad management. Leaders and managers play a key role in the employee’s experience in the workplace but can also contribute to the stress levels of the individual.

Thanks to a multitude of research findings, we are now far more informed about the value of wellness in driving organisational health, enhancing performance, and creating a thriving workplace for employees. However, it is not always clear how we can apply these insights into leadership and management practices to create a better work environment.

As HR leaders, how can we develop ourselves and our leadership teams to more actively build healthy workplace cultures and thriving work environments?

Join us in this action-oriented virtual session led by Professor Richard Hall, Deputy Dean, Leadership and Executive Education, at the Monash Business School on “Leading Effectively for Wellness and Thriving Workplace Cultures”. We will be exploring a range of practical leadership behaviours and practices that can help build thriving workplace cultures. Brought to you in partnership with Thrive Global APAC, this special event is exclusively for our community.

By the end of the session, you will learn:

  • How you can lead for wellness without compromising on productivity or performance

  • The critical role of providing clarity and clear leadership

  • How to show up as a leader in ways that build the confidence and capacity of your people

  • How to collaborate and build partnerships to make your people feel more connected, energized and valued

  • Practical techniques to become a more aware, open, curious, transparent and appreciative leader
