Give it a break, literally. It’s Global Wellness Day!

Why prioritising employee wellbeing is a win-win.

Although the terms “health” and “wellness” are often used interchangeably, the latter is a more active and process-oriented pursuit compared to health, which is a state of being. With Global Wellness Day coming up on 11 June, we’re shining a light on wellness and ways to live a healthier life.

Where are we now?

What can you do?

  • Wellbeing stems from a sense of connectedness. Leaders must create opportunities for employees to build such bonds either through informal check-ins or formal get-togethers.

  • Prioritising employee wellbeing can be as simple as making a conscious effort to keep meetings short, or as elaborate as establishing a formal assistance program where workers can seek emotional and mental aid.

What’s next?

Wellness must be a true north for companies. Without it, companies risk ending up with a jumble of mere tactics or worse yet, inauthentic and wasted efforts.

Don't wait. Learn more about mental health.

  1. Find out what the future of wellness at work looks like.
