Emotional Agility and Mindfulness: Creating Conscious Leaders and Teams

Organised by Thrive HR Exchange

In a world of increasing complexity and regeneration following COVID-19 – there are opportunities for agile leaders and managers to re-invent business models and create new avenues of growth. This creative destruction can at times feel wild and scary internally as we try to grasp where the world, our organisations and ourselves are placed in this. But it provides forward-thinking leaders and managers an opportunity to use empathy, emotional intelligence and psychological flexibility to reflect, re-group and re-build.

What you’ll learn:

  • You’ll learn how your emotions can impact your decisions.

  • How you can use your emotions as a leader to improve your relationships.

  • How you create an environment of post-traumatic growth for yourself and your organisation to thrive in.

Through case-study examples you’ll discover how a leader turned around her division using emotional agility, increasing its revenue by multiples after an initial bad start at the organisation where she unknowingly alienated her team. And experience practical tools that increase your self-awareness to nurture intelligent responses to your emotions making faster and more aligned personal and professional decisions.

About your presenters:

Karen Kwong  (Founder of RenOc) and Davina Ho (Founder of Potentiality) provide a fresh perspective empowering people and organisations to thrive. The webinar is based on specific, proven and effective psychological interventions from Karen Kwong, an executive coach and organisational psychologist. And somatic mindfulness techniques that train you to use the intelligence of the body from meditation and mindfulness expert Davina Ho. Both also have a significant amount of experience working in financial services.
