Effective Communication: the Gateway to Strong & Impactful Relationships

Organised by Thrive HR Exchange

For our monthly mindful leaders session, we are bringing back our partners, Karen Kwong  (Founder of RenOC) and Davina Ho (Founder of Potentiality).

Effective communication at the best of times is hard but with the change, challenges and uncertainty facing us, being able to relate, empathise and communicate well is even more vital than before as people are working from home and/or with new practices.

This virtual session is a reminder of some foundational principles, as well as specifically answering to the new world in which we live. If you’re looking to improve your relationships at home and at work, this session will help you get there!

What you’ll learn:

  • Why effective communication is one you’re the most vital skills to have at home and at work

  • What it looks like when communication is good between parties

  • What is going on behind the scenes whilst communicating – understanding these will lead to better practice and avoiding pitfalls

  • How being mindful can help you communicate more authentically and effectively

Explore fascinating case studies illustrating how leaders have managed to transform their teams and businesses improving their communication skills. Complete a guided meditation that supports you to to channel this skill more effectively, from within.

Participant review on “Leverage your Superpowers” mindful leaders session
”This is the first Thrive HR Exchange session I have attended and I really enjoyed the session. Karen is inspiring and very relatable (!) and Davina's meditation session was very relaxing! This was my first time taking part in a meditation session during a webinar and I think all webinars should incorporate meditation in their sessions!”
