Bhakti Vithalani
Founder and CEO of BigSpring

BigSpring is a lifelong skilling platform that moves people from “test ready” to “job ready”. BigSpring equips people with market-relevant skills they need to be gainfully employed, and enables employers to measure ROI from learning to establish it as a core business driver - not a discretionary expense. This approach was born from a decade of work in vocational training across sectors, job types and geographies. BigSpring has garnered over a half-million learners globally and is the platform of choice for Uber, Google, Facebook, Tata Steel, United Technologies and others. Under Bhakti’s leadership, BigSpring has been selected by the World Economic Forum (WEF) as a Technology Pioneer 2020, joining a select group of companies that are poised to have a significant impact on business and society. In this capacity, Bhakti is a member of the Forum’s New Economy and Society platform.

Bhakti also sits on the Board of Governors for JA Worldwide, a hundred-year-old organization that delivers financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship skills to over ten million youth around the world each year. In her role as Governor, she co-chairs JA’s Learning Experiences Committee. Previously, Bhakti worked as an Engagement Manager with McKinsey & Company leading client engagements for the High Tech and Corporate Finance practices across the United States and Asia Pacific. She started her career in product development in Silicon Valley with Siebel Systems.

Bhakti is a Computer Engineer with University Honors from Carnegie Mellon University (where she was among the first women from India to attend) and has an MBA from The Wharton School where she was a Joseph Wharton Fellow.
